Royal Commission , Jubail (RCJ) allocated a site for the construction of a number of giant plants of Poly Propylene Co. (APPC) of estimated capital SR 2700 millions. APPC Chairman Khalifa ibn Abdul Lateef Al-Mulhim announced project progress , support, and co-operation of RCJ, Ministry of Petroleum and Minerals, ARAMCO, SIDF and utilities thereof, and all governmental bodies which support was crucial to project success. He explained Company's intent to increase project capital and offer all increase amount to public subscription; an application to this effect was already submitted to Capital Market Authority. (Al-Yaum) interviewed Engineer Ali ibn Abdul Raziq Al-Shueir, project's CEO, for further focusing on this matter. He expressed thanks and appreciation to RCJ, ARAMCO, and all bodies for their cooperation and facilitation of investment procedures in Jubail Industrial City. The Company's production will contribute to GNP and provide job opportunities for citizens, he said. He pointed that Company which is located on 650 000 sq. mt. has capital of SR 2700 millions. RCJ and ARAMCO exerted great efforts until the project became a reality, he added. Production is expected to start by the end of next 2007 and the product will be marketed in local, regional, and international markets through international and local partners, he said.
